P3 Training

We are nearing the end of our season and thus we will be going into the P3 training. P3 training stands for Preparation for Peak Performance. This is where the coaches design a plan specifically for each swimmer based on when their last meet of the season is. Each swimmer will be doing workouts that will lead them to hopefully reach their own peak performance when it comes time for their last meet of the season. Please note: it is important that each swimmer try and attend as much as possible during these last weeks of practice. This ensures that each swimmer will get the most out of their P3 training.

The start of our P3 training also means that ALL GROUPS are through with drylands after this week-starting Tuesday July 13th, we will no longer be holding drylands.

Attendance Revision

Here is a reminder of the attendance policy revision that we made in May of 2010 to accomodate those not attending meets on Friday's but wanting practices.

The revision is as follows: If there are 3 or more cancelled Friday practices within a month, your swimmer will be able to come on any of the cancelled practices to count towards attendance. If 4 practices are cancelled, a swimmer may make up only 2, if 3 practices are cancelled, a swimmer may make up only 1.

There are a couple stipulations for this:
1.     Swimmers can only come in durning the time stated by the coaches in the email

2.     Each swimmer will need to have the printed out workout that was sent out the night before by the coaches via email.

3.     After they swim, they will need to get their workout stamped by the lifeguard with a FUSION stamp before leaving.

4.     Each swimmer will then need to turn in their stamped workout to a coach at the next scheduled workout.

We hope that this new revision will help out those in need of extra attendance days and those that can regularly attend Friday practices. We do want to caution that if any swimmer is acting inappropriately during this  time, this privilege will be taken away.

Because we will be cancelling 4 practices this month, each swimmer is allowed to turn in 2 make-up workouts for credit
