We are here to support your needs. If your questions are related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the coaches. For all questions related to administrative, such as dues, safety, or policy issues, please contact  Coach Steve.

Both Coach Steve and Coach Brittany are certified in CPR/AED for the professional rescuer as well as Lifeguard Training and First Aid through American Red Cross. Both coaches have passed background screenings and are registered USA Swimming coaches. Coach Steve and Coach Brittany are also members of the American Swim Coaches’ Association (ASCA). Coach Steve is also working towards finishing the ASCA’s Level 2 Stroke School as well as the Level 3 Physiology School.

Coach Steve has worked for the City of Northglenn for 9 years. Throughout those 9 years he taught swim lessons, was a Head Lifeguard, and then became the Coordinator of Aquatics for the city. He helped create and coach the Northglenn Snappers CARA team for three years and is the primary founder of the Northglenn Fusion Swim Club.

Steve swam four years in high school at Horizon High School and was named Swimmer of the Year for th North Metro Area in 2002. After his senior year, he swam competitive for one year. He continued to swim at the University of North Dakota for earlier part of his freshmen year.

Steve is also attending Metropolitan State College of Denver for a double major in AirTraffic Control and Recreation. He enjoys rock climbing, bouldering, and snowboarding in his spare time.

Brittany R Aragon

Coach Brittany Aragon has worked for the City of Northglenn for 7 years. Throughout those 7 years she has taught swim lessons, was a volunteer coach for the Northglenn Snappers in its beginning seasons and then in the third season took over as the second coach for the Northglenn Snappers alongside Coach Steve. Brittany also helped in the founding of the Northglenn Fusion Swim Club.

Brittany started swimming competitively for USS (now USA Swimming) when she was 6-years-old for the Front Range Dolphins. She continued her swimming career with CARA and USS until she was in high school where she swam three years for Legacy High School. She attended the state championships for high school and placed three years in a row.

Brittany is also attending the University of Colorado, Denver, for a major in Psychology and is looking to apply to graduate school for Psychology along with Nursing school. She enjoys bouldering, snowboarding, and scrap booking in her spare time.
